Victory

Victory can be achieved through a desire of change, the help of God and others (support groups, sober living houses, counseling, medication, people that support your soberiety/recovery, giving back, etc...) (1 Corinthians 6:12) "I will not be enslaved by anything" "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1Corinthians 15:57) "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me ." (Philippians 4:13) "Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." (Psalm 121:1-2). "Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety." (Proverbs 11:14) "for by wise guidance you can wage your war, and in abundance of counselors there is victory." (Proverbs 24:6) "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another" (Proverbs 27:17). God comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. (2 Corinthians 1:4)
